August 1st, 2008 by MothWhen my BFF from high school who lives in LA comes to New York, she usually sleeps with this dude in Midtown who is less-than-cute. Personally, I can’t stand this, because I get stuck making small talk with his bald best friend who just got back from Iraq. Anyway, she invariably reports back the next day that the sex was lousy. This has happened more than once.
Her behavior mystifies me. Personally, I think no sex is better than sex with someone less-than-cute. It’s certainly better than bad sex. I’d much rather go out and try to meet someone new than settle for someone I’m not wild about. But she maintains that some sex is better than none, and this dude is a sure thing. What do you guys think?
