Who my mom thinks I should marry…

My mom is the cutest/most awesomest person I know. I don’t have any secrets from her, I told her when I was 21 that I’d never had an orgasm, I told her when my ex boyfriend demanded daily blowjobs, and I told her that I am not sleeping with guys anymore unless I actually fall in love (it’s been about a month so far…a month of awesome). Slut Machine is getting married!

I had lunch with a dude I know.  He turns lunch into some sort of intervention type heart to heart with me about what I am doing to my life and my relationships. He details how much I piss so people off. He then offers some sort of “is blogging more important than friendships and relationships” type line. He tries to explain how it’s affecting him. He details how defending me is getting more and more difficult. He even brilliantly suggests I make up fake names for everyone. He wouldn’t let me change the subject. He kept going. It was enthralling.

I’m watching Father of the Bride (I love you Steve Martin) and that girl is supposed to be 22! Are smart, motivated girls really getting married that young? I think I only mind if that means a girl is giving up on her career/starts being obnoxious about planning a wedding/sucks in general and shouldn’t get married before awesome people. I guess we’re at the age when our friends are going to start getting married…scary? annoying? discuss.
