This edition is Jollibee, a Philippine fast food chain with over 14,655 stores in the Philippines and 191 overseas including a bunch in California! Greedy Food Monster: International Edition

Let me know if you have any suggestions. First on my list is Mos Burger of Japan. What is coolest about Mos Burger are their rice burgers, made with strange rice patties that kinda fall apart. The second coolest thing is the diagrams on their website of how their food is “designed”. There’s also a neat timeline, they’ve been around since 1972! Just like Sarah! S’mores Please!

I had the joy of teaching my Scottish boyfriend about the wonders of s’mores. I think my first one was at my first summer camp in America when I was ten. I really like making them over my stove top…with McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives, so I can skip the chocolate step. And Threadless helps keep the love alive with their s’more 101 tee shirts.

Grand Champion Fatty Fatpants

I work out all the time. Mostly because I’m masochistic and lack the gumption to be a cutter. I am convinced that genetically I’m supposed to be 1.7 million pounds. I’m also the person who coined the oh so Missb term, “greedy food monster” because there was no way else to describe my eating habits and what foul food combinations taste good on my tongue. OK. So here’s the thing. It’s hot outside and I need to get down to my fighting weight. I don’t want to do anything unreasonable like eating sensibly so what are my workout options? I’m on a wicked plateau and even though I’ve tried running AND resistance training nothing’s budged. What now? And if you say it’s because I’m old and would do well to “give up and eat fried cake” I will kill you with my hands. Olivia. 

Foodie Tattoos, yay or nay?

I was just talking about how I didn’t like literal food tattoos. I feel pretty awesome about ironic or artsy food tattoos though…especially when they’re on other people. I hope this guy is a hotdog griller…and that’s his job. Or maybe he drives the Oscar Meyer Weiner truck…where is that thing, I haven’t seen it in years. Anyway, it’s really fun to google food tattoos.  I almost got a Camille Rose Garcia cupcake tattoo once. Anyone down with a food tattoo?

Popcorn: a love story

I could write a novel about popcorn. About 4 times I week, I eat popcorn for dinner. In Japan, they have these machines that pop little bags for you that are kinda kettle korn flavored. In London, people put sugar on their popcorn. Here, we put gross oil. Garrett Popcorn is by far the best caramel/cheese popcorn in a tin company…ask Halle Berry. I like to use popcorn flavor aids. And sometimes I melt butter and peanut butter, pour it on air-popped popcorn, and then sprinkle MSG on top…’cause I’m a greedy food monster.
