I Wanna Be Friends With Youuuuuu…

July 29th, 2008 by Emilia

OMG! Look what we just got!!! The kind people over at STRANGEco sent to us a huge box filled with their brand new toy collection called “Wish Come True”, and honestly it feels like Christmas morning right now at our office.

They were designed by this awesome art collective based in Miami called FriendsWithYou! and apparently they’re magical. MAAAGICAL I tell ya!!!

I already got one of eachon my desk, but now I’m having a hard time trying understand how they work. My guess is you just need to hold one in your hand and ask for a wish? Im gonna wish for a box of calorie-burning-cupcakes. I’ll keep you guys updated if it comes true. Kthanxbai.

Clone High

April 2nd, 2008 by admin

This is the intro to the best cartoon ever, Clone High…which never finished it’s first MTV season in 2003 due to it’s “offensive” portrayal of Gandhi. The premise=famous historical figures in their teenage years at a high school for clones (starring Lincoln, Gandhi, Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, and JFK). You NEED to watch all the episodes. Youtube might not cut it…check ebay…that’s where i bought them. Canadians sell the dvds cause they aren’t fascists who hate comedy (and who wouldn’t/didn’t cancel brilliance over 150 Indian protesters, what do they care if cartoon Gandhi has ADHD?) You need this. For serio.
