All Hail The Lipstick Queen

About a week ago I was introduced to a new brand called Lipstick Queen. The Founder is a lady from Australia named Poppy and she’s fabulous. As legend has it the Lipstick Queen was only a mere teen when she founded her namesake beauty line Poppy Industries. Disgusted by all the frosted pink that was going on in the 80’s she decided to take matters into her own hands. She found a local chemist that would make her some matte red lipstick and faster than you can say “Kiss Me” Poppy was an overnight sensation! Then things got out of hand. It was over licenced and before you know it Poppy had her name on everything and was taken advantage of by Corporate Australia. Fast forward to now. Lipstick Queen is going back to her roots and doing just that. Solomente Lipstick! Hard Core Gloss is insanity. It’s a must have. And her Saints and Sinners are genius. The same colors, Saints are tint and Sinners are opaque….OMFG. Poppy you so crazay! Oh, and pick up her book Lessons of A Lipstick Queen. It’s all the stuff she’s learned in this crazy journey called life…not just for Beauty Industry peeps but a life lesson for all chicks. Right on Popster!

How Cute Are They!

Its Friday night at 11pm. I’m not going out tonight. I have a small, small child and no one but me to watch him (Don’t judge). Id rather be with Rose, Sarah and Mar Kitty having Margaritas. They’ve instructed me to follow them all night on Twitter and claim it will be just like being there. Yeeeeah, so I’m doing that and simultaneously watching shows on the internetz. At the moment Im totally obsessing over making lots of web shows. While researching I came across this gem…BFF’s Michael Cera and Clark Duke have their own webisodes about pitching their shows.Totes weird! They want to makes shows, I want to make shows. Were like totally on the same level. Oh wait their already famous! Well, If you haven’t seen it you have to watch Clark and Michael. Le Geek C’est Chic!

Obsessed: Twitter!

I’m officially a Twitterholic. You can ask Rose and Marley cause they are too. I posted about Twitter a few weeks ago and since then it’s become a full on addiction. Twitter is virtually like having a giant instant message conversation with your friends and maybe some people you want to be your friends…Ohai NYT Style Section! Editors Note: These are not cleverly thought up blog postings but the real crap we do 24/7…Yea BabyKittyBitch got her teeth pulled today and Rose almost knocked some hoe out on the dance floor.
