Fans! Who the hell doesn’t. Sometimes I forget that I put my AIM name on my profile and every once and a while i’ll get a cute message from an adoring fan. Tonight Missbehave Fanboy John Bryant hit me up. He’s a 16 year old from Alabama. How cute is that! It just reminded me to say, WE LOVE YOU GUYS!! Your the fuel for our fire, your the peanut butter for our jelly, your the vodka for our tonic and so on. Keep reading and we’ll keep giving you the best Magazine ever!!! XOXOX

Kick Ass Movie Alert!

September 22nd, 2008 by Samantha

Besides eating close to half a pizza, nearly 8 peanut butter cookies and drinking 41/2 beers I saw this dope movie on Saturday night. It was every cool end of the world movie all wrapped up into one. Doomsday’s heroine was a doppelganger for Kate Beckinsale in Van Hellsing and Underworld. The intro to the movie had a hint of Zombies ala George Remero’s Day of The Dead and Dawn of the Dead films. There were cinematic techniques pulled from 28 Days Later and 300. Then halfway through we are introduced to a city of thugs straight out of Max Max Beyond Thunder Dome. All of a sudden the movie goes all Braveheart on dat ass. You know what though, it was kick assss! A bunny was blown up for no apparent reason, there was a girl fight that ended in decapitation and a dude got roasted on a spit and torn limb to limb and eaten by canibals. I’m not gonna give away the ending because I was in a cookie coma-drunken-slung-over-couch-one-eye-open situation and uuh, huh, huh, uh I don’t really remember what happened anyway. If anyone has seen it refresh my memory.

September 22nd, 2008 by Samantha

Hey guys, I’ve been kinda/majorly slacking on my blogging duties. Sorry. Mostly, it’s because we’ve been moving for the past week. First it’s the packing, then the physical moving, then you have the whole unpacking thing. You know how these things go. So I’m writing my first blog from our new office…on…are you ready….drum roll please….North 9th and Bedford Ave! Ta-dah! Let me explain. Our former offices were in the pits of hell they call The East Williamsburg Industrial Park. We have see the dark side of the moon and lived to tell about it. When The Cat’s Away…

September 15th, 2008 by Olivia

Things I do when Sarah’s in Boston at her parent’s house, sitting next to a pool sun-bathing (bitch, next time I’m coming too!): Consume all the weed in the house, buy fancy cheese and eat it all, bond with Weetzie (my other cat), watch 3 seasons of “Weeds” and all the “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” re-runs I can record at once, write REALLY slowly, vacuum up 3 yards of Sarah’s hair extensions, make magnets out of ripped magazines and flat marble thingys, and um…basically not leave ever. I guess it doesn’t help that I broke up with my boyfriend. I’m bored. Is it totally lame to go to movies alone?

Olivia’s Celeb Moment #2

September 11th, 2008 by Olivia

My interactions with famous people tend to be random as hell. My “date” with Emile Hirsch is up there. I guess one of Emile’s parents lives in Santa Fe, and he is friends with my friend Buster. It was way back before the movie The Secret Lives of Alter Boys came out, did anybody see that? And I knew he was an actor, but had no idea he was a talented one! So we went to see Chocolat at the movie theater and he bought that bagged cotton candy which exploded into fireworks of spun sugar when he opened the bag…and we laughed cause it was all over us. Then I drove him around in my forest green Jeep Cherokee Limited and didn’t try to make out with him…maybe cause he’s two years younger than me. But he really was the sweetest, most down-to-earth boy ever. I totally wish I’d kissed him now, cause he totally went for another red head in Santa Fe. Bitch.
