An ode to Hostess Cupcakes

November 11th, 2008 by Sarah Morrison

I don’t know what happened yesterday. But I was standing in line to buy cigarettes when I impulsively picked up a pack of Hostess cupcakes and proceeded to buy it. I then went home and ate them at 10am. I was planning on eating one and saving the other for later. But it tasted like magic. It tasted like perfect. I needed the other one. I wanted 12 more. Yum.

Never forget the Hostess cupcake.

They are better than candy.

P’Zone: Best Invention since Car?

November 11th, 2008 by Olivia

My friend Alex keeps telling me I can’t eat anymore…cause we go out to eat and I’m hungry 3 hours later. Something tells me that Pizza Hut’s new P’Zone would keep me full for a while. The commercials brag that they’re over 1 pound each…does it make anyone else nervous that if you eat a pound of food that technically you’ve gained a pound until you digest it? I’m going to get a p’zone. It’s gonna kick Pinkberry’s ass. Anyone tried this yet? Did you gain a pound? Was it awesome anyway? Should I go now?

It’s Like Heaven In A Can

October 27th, 2008 by erika the commenter

I never buy into trends. Mostly because it’s a pointless thing to do. So back in the day when Arizona Green Tea hit the 7-11 shelves, I never bothered to buy any. I am not really big on cold tea and everyone was walking around with a can in their hand. Green tea was the new latte.

But then, more recently, I was at work and one of my coworkers had a bottle of Arizona Green Tea. I asked him what it tasted like and he poured me a cup. Obvi I have been missing out on this deliciousness for years. It is like heaven in a can. That night I went to 7-11 and bought can upon can of this stuff. Then once they ran out of the green tea and I bought the Grapeade, which is even better. Now I am shooting to buy the Mango flavor, the diet green tea, and whatever flavor I can buy for 99 cents a can.

Has anyone else tried any of the other flavors? Are they good?

Ice Cream City

October 21st, 2008 by Olivia

There’s this magical place in Tokyo called Ice Cream City…it’s in Namjatown (in Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City complex) which is owned by Sega and I think is supposed to be the largest indoor theme park? But it’s kinda a theme park for greedy food monsters cause there is Ice Cream City, Gyoza Stadium, and something like Chou Chou village featuring cream puffs? I could give a shit about those but Ice Cream City is amazing and there are all sorts of weird fake shops selling racist antiques and vintage toys. They have every ice cream imaginable (and lots that aren’t): wasabi, sesame, green pea, rose, jasmine, ramen, pork, melon, chicken, pumpkin, apple, etc. If you’re ever in Japan, definitely go. I wanted to try every flavor but got sick after like…6. Anyway, if you could make up any ice cream ever, what flavor would it be?

Jones Soda Co. I Love u!

October 20th, 2008 by Samantha

If I got one of these in my pumpkin head treat bucket when I was a kid I would have shit my pants. These mini cans of soda by Jones Soda Co. are the most amazing things on earth. I have a huge thing for horror (movies/paraphernalia) so I’m not even drinking these bad boys…they went right on the tsotchke shelf (Mummy & Dracula not pictured).  I did buy them at Kmart for a photo shoot though. Someone opened the Candy Corn Flavor and when I went to pour out the remainder it was the craziest neon yellow color. Kinda like my Vitamin pee. Anyway I’m in love with Jones Soda Co. If you guys are reading this expect a call from Missbehave…Mini Monster Masher cans of soda pop are sheer genius in my book!

Really into Aloe Vera Juice

October 15th, 2008 by Sarah Morrison

So this took me a minute, but I am there. Aloe Vera Juice was suggested to me by one of my friends who suddenly stopped eating and became retardedly skinny without notice. At first I found it really hard to drink. The little aloe things felt like worms sliding down my throat. Hate gross puke. Then After a while, I embraced the little wormy things as yummy little candy type jello type yums. Now I love it. It’s amazing. Then Christine told me to look for flavored ones. These are even better. I can’t remember the science part of why they are helpful in dieting, but yeah.
