CONTEST RULES

Sponsored by BURTON SNOWBOARDS (“Burton”), located at 80 Industrial Parkway, Burlington,

Vermont, U.S.A. and Missbehave Magazine (“Missbehave”), located at 176 North 9th St., Brooklyn, New

York, U.S.A.

ELIGIBILITY

This contest is only open to legal residents of the continental United States (excluding RI). It is subject to

all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Employees of Burton and Missbehave and their respective

subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, affiliates and their agents, advertising, promotion and production

agencies and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings and spouses of children or

siblings) and household members are not eligible. Contestants under the age of 18 must receive permission

from a parent or guardian to enter.

By attempting to submit an entry, you release Burton and Missbehave and their subsidiaries, and their

respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, retailers, distributors, affiliates and their agents,

advertising, promotion and production agencies from all losses and any and all liability for any loss, harm,

damages, costs or expenses, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the contest, including

without limitation, property damage, criminal prosecution, personal injury and/or death, arising out of your

participation in this contest.

Failure to comply with all rules and regulations associated with the “Burton in the Bag” contest could result

in disqualification from the “Burton in the Bag” contest.

ENTRY VIA THE INTERNETONLY

Please complete the registration form located at www.missbehavemag.com. This is the only method of

entry. Neither Burton nor Missbehave are responsible for any lost, late, delayed, illegible, incomplete,

mutilated, or misdirected entries. Neither Burton nor Missbehave are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate

entry information caused by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries

in this contest.

ALL SUBMISSIONS

Any registration forms submitted during this contest are considered public domain. Burton and Missbehave

reserve the right to, in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend this contest. Potentially offensive

entries to the “Burton in the Bag” will not be considered. You hereby give Burton and Missbehave the

absolute right to use your response for any lawful purpose whatsoever in any and all forms of media. You

hereby waive any right that you may have to inspect or approve the finished product(s), if any, that use

your entry and any compensation resulting from the entry you submit.

All entries are subject to verification. Any entry that is tampered with, counterfeited, illegible, mutilated,

reproduced, contains printing or other errors, obtained where prohibited or not obtained legitimately, is null

and void. In the event that production, seeding, printing or other errors cause more than the stated number

of prizes of any category to be claimed, Burton and Missbehave reserve the right to suspend delivery of

prizes, without prior notice.

SUBMISSION REVIEW

All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EDT on January 31, 2009.

Review of submitted photo, caption and registration forms will begin on or about January 16, 2009.

Winners will be notified by email or Federal Express on or about the third day of each month that this

contest is in effect. If a Prize Notification Letter or a Prize is returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be

forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible

entries.

PRIZE AND ITS APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (”ARV”)

There is one (1) prize, consisting of the following : one (1) Burton Star Vest; one (1) Burton Scoop Hoodie;

one (1) Burton Mischief Down; one (1) Burton Lipstick snowboard; one (1) Burton Wheelie Sub; one (1)

Burton Flight Deck; one (1) Burton Little Buddy; One Burton Uptown Satchel; one (1) Burton Shred

Hoodie; one (1) Burton Trina Scarf; one (1)Burton Trina Scarf; two (2) Burton tee-shirts; one (1) Burton

studded belt; one (1) Burton studded wallet; three (3) Burton beanies; and one (1) Women’s Day Hiker all

of Burton’s sole discretion. Approximate retail value of prize is USD One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty

and 00/100 Dollars ($1,750.00).

Winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, license, fees or other costs. Burton

will ship prize to each winner via Federal Express at Burton’s expense. Neither Burton nor Missbehave are

responsible for delays in delivery of any prize. Winner shall bear all risk of loss to prize after it has been

received. Neither Burton nor Missbehave are under any obligation to provide winners with any other

substitute prize. In the event a winner is or becomes ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an

alternate winner in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.

Winner of the “Burton in the Bag” will be issued W-9 tax forms for the value of the prize.

Prize is non-transferable; no substitutions, exchanges, or product redemptions. Winner will be required to

execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release within fourteen (14) days of notification

or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

By participating in this contest, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules.

Participants agree that this contest is exclusively governed by the laws of the State of Vermont. Any claims

arising out of the contest shall be governed by Vermont law and may be brought only in a federal or state

court in Vermont. If any provisions of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all

remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.

By accepting a prize, winner grants to Burton and Missbehave the right to use his/her name, likeness,

hometown and biographical information, for any lawful purpose, without further permission or

compensation, except where prohibited by law.
