Let's Talk Nails!!! "Tawnya- Where do you live? Let's ask the ladies if they know of good spots in your neighborhood. In NY, there are tons. Jessica- Soo awesome to hear that! The good thing about getting tips is that your manicure/nail art lasts up to 2 weeks! That means you don't have nailpolish peeling 3 days after you paint them, or you don't have nails breaking because the fakies are STRONG! The only downside is that your nails gets damaged when you take the acrylics off BUT, if you keep on getting them refilled, you won't notice the damaged nails till you take them off!! haha. When and if you do decide to take a break from acrylic nail tips, your real nails are going to be flimsy and damaged...but it will grow out sooner or later. There are alternative ways of getting nails did though. Some of them will NOT damage your real nails at all!! Like the Pronails and the Prescription nail methods. Erika- I sometimes see them at Duane Reade (but more than a $1) and those beauty supply shops in the random neighborhoods."
