I am watching a show called Queen Bee’s right now. I can’t quite figure out what its about besides having a bunch of semi cute, slutty looking, dumb girls living in a house to do…well I’m not even sure. It’s the most watered down “living in a house” reality show I’ve ever seen. The show is part Real World, part Charm School, part Starting Over. It’s Reality for 10 year olds. Why the Fuck am I watching this?? Even more WTF was when commercial for a show called Exiled came on. The producers of My Super Sweet Sixteen are having parents of former sweet sixteeners banish them to third world countries. In the commercial for the show one girl, wait…one very rich, very white, very spoiled girl is sent to Africa and in the clip, exclaims, crying “I’m not clllleeeeaning up elephant poo! waaaaaa”. This is going to be amazing, but OMG it’s beyond…rich kids in poor foreign countries? WTF!!!!
I think it’ll be interesting to see. I get a “WTF!!” moment everytime I watch My Super Sweet Sixteen!! But at the same time, I’m from very humble backgrounds (a.k.a. the hood) and going to a third world country would pobably be too much of a culture shock for me. I think part of the blame lies with the parents because they basically made or allowed these children to be spoiled rotten. There are “rich” kids who don’t get on tv and act a damn fool because they didn’t get the silver Benz versus the white one they wanted for their birthday.
They should send all rich ungrateful children to foreign countries i think thats a wonderful idea.
I think a lot of kids, richpoorspoiledhumblewhiteblackwhatever, would be intimidated by the idea of being dropped in a third world country with virtually no warning. I think it’s an amazing idea, that will hopefully jump start other young people into being more globally conscious, but I’m not gonna lie. If my parents were all of a sudden like, “You’re a spoiled bitch and you’re going to Sudan to learn a little something about life,” I’d be scared as hell.
However, in the true spirit of Schadenfreude, I will happily sit down whatever night it comes down with some Dr. Pepper and Red Vines to watch the hilarity commence.
i was waiting for the day they made exiled or whatev. those brats need it. exploitation of kids at its finest.
Queen bees is like a watered down bad girls club where they get money if they fake being nice and get enough stars.
I still watch it though, cause camiles my girl.
Exiled looks rad, I just hope they dont get money for doing that shit, would totally defeat the purpose.
