Would You Rather…

When my BFF from high school who lives in LA comes to New York, she usually sleeps with this dude in Midtown who is less-than-cute. Personally, I can’t stand this, because I get stuck making small talk with his bald best friend who just got back from Iraq. Anyway, she invariably reports back the next day that the sex was lousy. This has happened more than once.

Her behavior mystifies me. Personally, I think no sex is better than sex with someone less-than-cute. It’s certainly better than bad sex. I’d much rather go out and try to meet someone new than settle for someone I’m not wild about. But she maintains that some sex is better than none, and this dude is a sure thing. What do you guys think?

    Ugly sex can be hot. Remember what happened with Charlotte and Harry on SATC. I have never had ugly sex, and SATC is fiction. So my point is dead. No sex thanks.

    DaretobeHappii: Considering that he is less-than-cute, the visual aspect of the sex would be spoiled, so that the sex’s potential for goodness would be lower. Assume the sex is as good as it can be given those constraints.

    But I almost always have lights out sex so if I can’t actually see said “Mr. Less Than Cute” and he is not a terrible partner, than I could just imagine I was fucking someone else hotter anyway. Soooo…maybe not so bad??

    Poor Mr.Less-Than-Cute, he never even had a chance. Definitely No Sex, because lousy sex is the equivalent except more aggravating because you actually went through the act to reap no rewards. Booooo!
