My New Gadget: Apple TV

Me and boo got Apple TV. Here’s my review: Essentially its a wireless hook up to your I Tunes library and I Photo library for you main television. Awesome. What’s not that awesome is surfing youtube with another person. He keeps passing things that I would stop and watch i.e Project Runway clips, N.E.R.D videos and something with the name Gunz, Booze and Weed (WTF! who wouldn’t want to watch that???). He insists on watching anything with sexual connotations, the most viewed Miley Cyrus Video and Rammstein. It’s obvious to me Youtube is meant to be surfed alone. We agreed on watching downloads of Flight of The Concords. It was awesome seeing our first episode of Hey Cool Guy! on the big screen. This is absolutely the way people are going to watch web tv in the future. But for now Apple TV will only allow you to watch anything from your Apple libraries and Youtube. All and all it’s a pretty cool gadget. We’ll see how practical it actually is in the weeks to come. Oh Hi Rock Band and Wii Fit! Maybe its just easier to sit at the computer? Anyone else have this? Thoughts?
My boyfriend is a diehard Apple fan and he was thinking of getting this at some point. Lol @ youtube. I agree that is something to watch along or have a mutual agreement on. For instance, we can watch Flight of the Conchords together but he hates watching The Mighty Boosh with me. Maybe his and her Apple TV is in order.
