Lolzapalolza

Me and my duder are over in Chicago for Lollapalooza! It’s day 2 and so far we’ve seen The Go! Team, The Kills, Gogol Bordello (frickin’ awesome), Mates of State, Bloc Party, and Radiohead in day one. It was the best day ever. Then today we saw MGMT, Brand New (kinda…we were sunbathing nearby), Spank Rock, Broken Social Scene, and Wilco. More amazingness. There have been a couple of drugged up passed out kids, lots of cute Midwestern young peoples in lots of gladiator sandals, and lots of cheap white wine. I’ll be back later with farmers tans and actual pictures! Chicago is amazing, it’s a nicer, better organized New York…on a lake.
woo! I’m glad to know Lollapalooza and my lovely city of Chicago is Missbehave approved. Also, can we just say Wilco’s outfits were one of the greatest things ever witnessed?

God, so much goodness here! Even the crabby waitresses are nicer! I was going to go to Katy Perry afterparty Thursday, but after traveling/being drunk all day, it was all I could do to go to 7-11 to slurpy-it up (slurpy plus bourbon=joy) with some pay-per-view hotel movies! I’ll upload pictures tomorrow night!

Chicago is a over gentrified bleached out chit hole. Yea it may look ‘Amazing” from the perspective of someone who spends their whole time in Midwest Hipster bubble Wicker Park and the B.S. Movie Set excuse that is now for rent called downtown but go to the real parts of Chicago that are not on your lollapolooza tour of the city and you’ll see how segregated and pushed put the city is. Welcome to NYC in few years. Like how the L.E.S. has become a fucking yuppie wasteland?
Then take a good look at Chicago cause that’s the route NY is on.

I grew up in Logan Square on same block as the Lathrop Projects I had to move to New York because the home that my family owned and first bought in the 60’s when they moved here from Puerto Rico was hit with insane property taxes because of the gated communitys that went up down the block you know that part of Chicago your not allowed to go into unless you have a key and your white. The block I grew up on and played with all my friends with is gone now, it’s a fucking Best Buy or whatever, where I first made out with my first girlfriend while she snuck out her basment apt, that’s a fucking strip mall. that’s what I know about that. Go back to Glendale before you speak on some shit YOU don’t know about…
I actually lived in Chicago for 3 years when I was little, it was the first place I lived in America when I moved from London.
