Lolzapalolza Wrap-up

So Lollapalooza was awesome, I had a helluva time getting back, but the bands were great. I’ve already mentioned how amazing Wilco’s suits are, but here’s a video. Sunday brought Kid Sister, Girl Talk, Iron & Wine, The National, NIN/Kanye West. We ate at Pizza Uno AND Pizza Due! Went shopping briefly at Water Tower Place. Walked about 4 miles a day. And yesterday, got stuck at Chicago Ohare for 7 hours while United canceled our flights (and re-booked flights) FOUR times. Then we had to stay overnight without luggage and no free hotel room…so we got to a hotel 30 minutes away and their electricity was out! So no ac, no tv, no hot water, no lights…we ate sunchips and watched Greek on my ipod. Oy vey. Pictures below!
Radiohead! Total religious experience and I am not THAT big a fan. A cute family offered up their pipe and we watched on a grassy hill.
Samantha and Mark Ronson. Apparently Lindsay was there, I totally didn’t see her. Such a bummer.

this made me ALL kindsa jealous….i had to decide between lolla and gathering of the vibes….vibes was 15 mins away and im pretty poor, so that won out. dammit…radiohead, girl talk, gogol…drooool.
gogol bordello was crazyawesome! they were a great opener for radiohead…. bloc party not so much.
bummer it was that shitty getting back.
ohare airport is THE WORST. i think its the the top rated in cancellations and delays. and the a/c in your hotel was prob. out because we had a crazy storm on monday morning.

Haha. I totally tried fried oreos a couple weeks ago! Kinda amazing…but twinkie was better. Also managed to lose 3 pounds even though I was eating a ton! Woohoo!
Yeah… about that gnarly storm… got stuck in some under construction Neiman Marcus basement with a bunch of old people accompanied by horrible muszak music.
@Olivia: i haven’t had the twinkie but i totally trust your opinion. maybe if i eat one i will lose 3 pounds too….
