went to tuesdays concert, had seats in the skybox, courtesy of my job :). Lupe was up 1st.. killed it! NERD was up next, no one was really payin attention to them because you could hardly hear them, just the beats….
and now Kanye…. smh… thank god i didnt pay for tickets. He took about 40 min to hit the stage, around 11pm, did more talkin shyte and bragging then actually performing. although he had his hot moments… everyone in my suite left early because of this. my boo and i were the last to leave at 1230, and he was still “performing”, talkin crap about new hip hop and soulja boy….
give the concert an 8/10. lol (and thats cuz we were all done off of absolut and jack daniels.)
his montreal concert wasn’t too bad, he took 40 minutes to set up his shit too, but this was before the whole soulja boy thing went down, so he only had one little rant from what i remember. But other than that he was bumpin’.
What made me really sad about that show was, i missed almost all of Lupe’s set, and I really wanted to see him.. le sigh.
I the Detroit show in May and he killed it in a most royal fashion. No bullshit, everything started on time, each performance was quality, and Chris Brown was there! Kanye did a lot of audience interaction (Bette Midler was right, MTV has killed live performance), which I liked, and he actually came across as super appreciative and grateful more than anything.
You got the feeling that he’d been waiting to do this his entire life, and now he can, and it’s the shit. Sorry the NY show was wack!
this is my second time seeing the show I went the camden show in may and last nights closing show. Which was the best show ever!! jay z came out and he used the puppet and it was awesome.

i went to the VA beach show in may, on mother’s day… everything was on point and exceeded all my expectations. everybody did a good job and the whole vibe was cool.
it’s a shame if you didn’t get to enjoy it- it was def one of the better shows i’ve been to, if not the best.
SO excited for a new issue of Missbehave!!!!!
