A Mini Vacation

Summer time in New York is awesome. Tons of rooftop parties, concerts, coney island fun, but once in a while a little get away is totally needed for your sanity. This past weekend, I went to my friend’s birthday bash out in Atlantic City, NJ. When I think of Atlantic City, it makes me think of Jersey people, old cigar smelling gamble-holics, and a run down boardwalk. This weekend proved me wrong!

Ana threw her birthday at The Chelsea, a new boutique type hotel. Her brother who is a part owner of Beatrice Inn has been working with The Chelsea to get more of the exclusive party go-ers to party up in their hotel. This hotel was very nice. It definitely adds a face lift to the out dated Atlantic City strip with their tasteful decor and cabanas by the pool and the beach. The rooms are furnished with furnitures that you wish you owned. Once you go down to the beach, the beach boy’s set you up with the umbrellas, beds and towels, and when you want to go lounge by the pool side, the waitress’s serve you the much needed tropical drinks.

The Chelsea is having their grand opening party for the public this weekend. It’s definitely a great place to go check out, if you needed a little get away from New York.
