I don’t really know why people can’t make up their minds. They hate Juno and Knocked Up for “glamorizing” pregnancy. They hate Planned Parenthood for letting people end pregnancy. What the hell do you want!?! Millions of pregnant teenage mothers? Well congrats, your plan is working. Now what? What’s the next step? Our ladies at Jezebel reported on protesters trying to prevent an Oregon Planned Parenthood, you know, that place that gives education and affordable medical care to millions of confused girls who are like, wait, I was only taught NOT to have sex in school…but now that I have, what the hell is going on down there? Only 3% of Planned Parenthood’s work is abortions, and unless you assholes plan on educating your children, let them do their work. God. I’m so mad. Are these guys anti Planned Parenthood or pro? Cause if you’re anti PP, I think that’s the point of going there for an abortion, so you don’t have to use a rusty coat hanger and risk your life. If pro, you’re confusing, clarify your sign.

When i was in HS if you took gym two weeks was in a classroom doing “health” basically sex ed., and they taught us everything literally, i know way more than i expected. They taught us to abstain, but then they still taught you how to use a condom and all the other need to knows about getting down. but maybe thats just Canadian schools?

I am pretty sure the protestors with the sign are pro, but yeah those signs are confusing. This is really sad. If you don’t support planned parent just don’t patronize it, there is no need to shut them down for the work they do. I went to HS and all they taught was abstinence, like they couldn’t even tell you anything AT ALL, by the school board’s order. I kid you not like 7 or 8 girls from my senior class got pregnant before our sophmore year of college.

It seems like all of the people: protesters, diss, etc. are quite confused. Hmmmm almost as confused as some of those who do not receive proper sexual education.
You have to wonder what awful thing happened in their life that made these protesters take such a vigilant stand also. Why dress up as death and dangle baby dolls on ropes- soo dramatic.
For me: one look at the video of a baby being birthed in my health class was enough for me to want to stay baby free.

I work directly across from a Planned Parenthood. There are constantly protesters outside and they make me so upset. The other day they followed some girl coming out for like two blocks yelling at her. I almost left to yell at them because wtf, they have no idea what she was doing there and it most likely wasn’t getting an abortion.
Teaching abstinence is fine but everyone needs to accept the fact that realistically, only a very small number of teenagers are going to abstain from sex until marriage. The children that don’t abstain need to be taught how to have safe sex.

UGH. I lived in Arkansas for the past three years, and you would not have to believe with the amount of shit I’ve had to hear from pro-lifers. I mean, I have seen teachers, (who should not be voicing political opinions in the classroom!!) talking about how abortion is evil. And these were totally reasonable, intelligent people, too. Soo fucking ridiculous, considering the fact that our school health class taught nothing about sex whatsoever!! We spent weeks learing just how evil pot really is, but never even went near anything resembling sex education. And than they wonder why 5 girls would get pregnant every year.
What makes me really mad is that Diss and those protesters dressed up like death are all MEN

And I don’t understand this morality thing. Teenagers boning is kinda gross and creepy to me now that I’m an old lady but it’s not inherently WRONG. It’s nature and it’s gonna happen so we might as well teach them to be smart about it. I don’t know how anyone could reason otherwise.
As a teenager who started having sex relatively recently, I’m just really really glad I live in Canada. People like this infuriate me so much, particularly the women with the nonsensical signs.
