Cat Fancy: Sleeping Habits

I haven’t been sleeping well since Weetzie Bat has moved from sleeping between my boobs to sleeping on top of Sarah’s broken computer. I think she’s trying to heal it with her magical kitty powers (or just sucking any warmth from it), but seriously, I need my sleep! You know how it’s comforting when that special someone is curled around you, and you feel like there is no safer place in the world than in bed with those arms around you? That’s kinda what Weetzie has become after years of singledom. And now, maybe she’s in love with a new lap, but I need that pile of purring fur to fall into deep sleep! Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
I fully understand. My feline soulmate, Orangey (yep, he was an orange tabby), would run and jump into bed every night and perch on my chest with his little kitty paws all tucked in like a nice catloaf. Then he would become a hearty purring machine and BAM, I was out like light, sleeping like a lamb. Weetzie will be back. BTW, this photo is uber presh

but yes, i know what you mean… the purring is definitely comforting. i hold my cat like a teddy bear
and LOL @ catloaf…i say that about my cat all the time when he tucks his little paws in and looks like an armless pile of fluff.

yeah, it’s totes hard to get used to not having your pet. when it’s hot like this, my dog will get up in the middle of the night sometimes and go sleep on the floor and i’ll wake up all worried. weetzie will come back.. maybe you should put sarah’s computer in the closet or something?

First off, Weetzie Bat is such a great kitty name. Dangerous Angels is my favorite teenage girl read. I re-read it every year.
I bet she’ll start sleeping with you again once she adjusts to Sarah being there. My babygirl Varla slept with me every night except when my boyfriend would stay but eventually she got used to him being around and resumed the snorgles.

I agree, Dangerous Angels is the best teenage read. It’s one of my favorite books.
