Do you feel stupider while watching Friends?

I am unclear if this show was made to dumb down the American public or whether most people are actually dumb enough to find this show funny.
Maybe it’s some sort of next level funny that is beyond me? Um prolly not.

omg, least funny show ever. All my friends are in love with it and keep trying to convince me of it’s brilliance, but I just don’t get it.
I was in love with friends circa middle school when I felt older and cooler for watching it. Also, because as a preteen I was fascinated with sex and the Friends crew was getting it alot. Post MS I discovered Coupling, which is like a cross between Friends and Seinfeld and is way more epic because it’s British. So in short, Friends=no, Coupling=YES!

Friends is stupid.
I however have been trapped by local tv networks a really sick or snowed in my house at times and it has been the only thing on.
I do not find it amusing, and I pretty much hate Jennifer Anniston. But the fact that Cortney Cox’s character used to be fat is awesome solely for when they have flashbacks.

i was into this show when i smoked weed chronically. now i don’t and this show f*cking sucks. i guess you have to be stoned to enjoy it.
when this shit was popular, i was watching absolutely fabulous. now that is quality-ass viewing.

Becuz I’m poorz, I found all five seasons on YouTube, of AbFab, each epi is in 4 parts but the quality is pretty good. Can we do a bikini car wash to raise money for a copy of the series instead of the studded belt?
Never ever got into Friends, completely lame and not funny. But then again, I do prefer British comedies liked Spaced, Peep Show, The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd, Brass Eye; i.e. comedy that has some intelligence to it.
Of course, I did live in London for about 7 years, so …I do love Seinfeld still.
