Mmm tap water!
May 6th, 2008 by Sarah Morrison
I refuse to spend money on things that should be free like exercise or water. Since the exercise debate becomes lost on me Im taking the water route. I refuse to spend money on water. I drink tap water. I have drank tap water everywhere I have lived. And, I am still alive!
Feel free to explain why I am going to die any day now!

i drink tap water. I drink it from the Brita thing because I like cold water and I cannot find ice cube trays anywhere.
However when I was in Waco, TX at Baylor, it was recommended that absolutely nobody drink the tap water.
Then I saw the locals and their teeth (or lack there of) and I completely understood.
It’s cool… I don’t see what the big deal is anyway? I always drink tap water. Then I went to Russia and people (Americans) were like “don’t drink the water.” I’m like wtf, why? So I did it by accident and that shit was fine. Also my skin completely glowed like I just had a facial the whole time I was there. I wanted to bottle it up and take it home.
I totally agree. I have been drinking tap water my whole life too. I am completely fine. Yeah, sure, wounds open up on my arm from the slightest movement but you know, it’s because of my muscles, I have too much.
Anyway, I read that it tap water causes vagina malfunction so I’d like to see THAT affect me. But in your case..hmm…. I don’t know.
I wish your vagina good luck.
For a minimal investment of $2, you can disguise your tap water as trendy Fiji water or Evian. Just keep washing & reusing that bottle! Then you can enjoy your tap water safe from “OMGZ TAP WATER?! R U CRAZY? U WILL DIE!!” naysayers. Although, the alleged vagina malfunctioning makes me rethink my stance on tap water.
FACT: American tap water is far more regulated than bottled water. I watched a documentary about Kaballah water which was bottled in Canada from a lake that had chemicals dumped in it…and how people were paying $9 a bottle for it and they had to add some fresher water to make it less um…toxic.
Sarah, get a Brita filter pitcher, they are amazing! Free water, and it’s totally worth the investment. I got mine fo r20 bucks at Walmart.
Don’t re-use plastic bottles, that’s super-duper bad for you. Free radicals, man. I love tap, it’s yummy and fluoride fortified.
I love tap water.
Do not re-use your plastic bottles FOR A LONG TIME, its bad for you.
see, i dont really buy the brita thing either.
wait really on the plastic bottle thing? i rinse out and reuse for ever.
ok I felt the same way about brita but it really does work well…one month and counting….and yes, you should definitely stop reusing plastic bottles!!!
So it’s not the tap water that is going to cause my vagina to malfunction, but rather the bottle I’m using. Sweet. Just when you thought you had beat the system.
Vagina Malfunction = Vagina Prolapse
ew i just google imaged Vagina Prolapse and puked in my my mouth a little
plastic bottles made for one use leech into your water if reused too often..
NYC tap water is the shit - as long as your buildings pipes are in good shape.
youtube - Penn & teller Bullshit Bottled water
So, I’m in Japan, and someone informed me that they guarantee their tap water here….not that I wouldn’t have drank it anyway….. Now I have to find another reason to sue the Japanese government, though.
don’t drink tap in guatemala. you’ll get montezuma’s revenge!
i went there in a group of 11 and 8 of us had the revenge for at least a week after returning to the states.
AND-
roughly 2 million tons of plastic are expended in the bottling of water each year. not green!
in hawaii we dont have fluoride in our water. which is a positive.
Except for NYC where the water tastes fine
if a little cloudy and/or rusty sometimes -
everywhere else I have ever gone or lived, the H2O
tastes like it was strained out of a pair of
dirty briefs. And that’s even places as close as
Long Island
haha your so funny. i drink tap water all the time.
i love tap water. i had some arrowhead and it tasted liked hairspray! aie
Wait…I love how into this tap water debate everyone is. Can we talk about air mattresses next or how about Vacuums: Friend or Foe?
