Help me pay my rent!

I moved out of my apartment in Philly in January. I am really unorganized and have ADD and sort of forgot about the whole 1300 dollar deposit thing until recently. I had spoke to my landlord after I moved out and she was totally down to send me the entire thing. She made no references to keeping any portion of the money. She just told me I had to pay my 600 dollar heating bill and minimal electric bill and she would mail me a check. It took me maybe a month to pay the bills. I kept meaning to call her, but forgot. Around April 1st, I made the choice to basically do next to nothing all month, go to LA and spend lots of money, and pay my rent with this deposit. My phone calls started to her first week in April. They have averaged three a week. I have received no phone call back at all, like at all. I leave a nice (clear slow speaking) message every time with my telephone number and old address. I even had the girl who still lives in that building call her as well. She returned neither (thanks Taryn) of her phone calls either.
What the hell do I do now?
This happened to me once with this shady ass dude in Hollywood. I wrote some fake letter saying I was a lawyer and eventually received half of my deposit approximately 9 months after I moved out. I was so over it I just gave up and cashed the check.
But seriously, what do I do? (The rent issue has been resolved so suggestions of selling things on Ebay and stripping for dudes in my building are not what I am looking for here. More like legal advice ie. protocol when this shit happens.)
Call the tenant board.

Call her again and leave her a message telling her that if she does not call you back with in 24 hours you will file a small claims court case against her for the deposit and and court costs associated with it. Then if she doesn’t call you back with in 24 hours leave another message saying her that you have gone ahead and filed the case and if you still don’t hear from her than go ahead and file one, you will get your money.

i’m sure the landlord will take care of the matter before it comes to a claim as it will cost her less in the end.

i have this problem now, except i’m not moving out or haven’t moved in a while, i’m just 2 months late with rent and considering selling drugs again, even though i have a paying job…don’t sell drugs sarah…this coming from a person in outpatient rehab. holla.
