She Bangs, She Bangs.

Yesterday, I decided that it was time for me to get my bangs trimmed because I was actually having a hard time looking at things, such as: food, myspace, co-workers, et. al.
I thought of cutting them myself, or asking Samantha to do it , since she recently did an amazing job on hers (yes, they look great Sam!) but instead opted to go to a salon in our neighborhood. Has anyone been to HELLO BEAUTIFUL in Williamsburg? I showed up there at like 8 pm and found Faith, the stylist, on her way to the $3 margaritas across the street, and she still agreed to cut my hairs! Now, the bang-trimming turned into a whole new (way shorter) look, and honestly I was praying, while in the chair, that she wasn’t taking revenge on me for my walk-in status. I feel pretty good about it now, after all the good reviews at the office, but I do have a question (since it’s highly possible that everyone that reads this blog has bangs) What do you guys do when they get to long to bear?
I cut mine myself. Last time I went to the hair dresser I asked her to show me how to trim them, and while they never come out quite as good as when she does them, they suffice.
um, apparently jimmy fallon gets his hair cut their too. i love him. i cut my own hair in between cuts…which i only get every 6 months cause i’m cheap and trying to grow it to my boobs…but it keeps breaking off in my hand cause i like straightening it and curling it everyday.
I’m about to do that shit myself! how much did they charge for a bang trim?

Yup, where I work we don’t charge to trim bangs and thin hair out. Then again I charge 64 dollars for a cut and I live in San Antonio. While they grow out I suggest using cute clips- headbands- rock a pompadour (if you don’t know how to make one, now’s the time to learn) I have a love hate relationship with my bangs myself…. grrrr

i have sorta bangs because i am convinced i have forehead lines.

Sometime in the past month I came across the best
tip ever! I twist my bangs into sections and trim the bottom of the twist… that way it stays messy and looks even!
Anyway it saves a few bucks!
